Expanding on the original Wireless GO with major upgrades for two-person recording, onboard recording, extended range, and flexible output options, the RØDE Wireless GO II allows videographers, vloggers, and mobile journalists to quickly and confidently integrate wireless audio into any setup.

Featuring secure Series IV 2.4 GHz digital transmission, intuitive operation, and built-in microphones (external lavaliers available separately), the system is ready to use at the press of a button. With no menus or complicated controls, simply power on and go, while the bright LCD screen provides clear monitoring of key information. When advanced control is needed, the companion app unlocks powerful customization options.

Version II Upgrades

Unlike the original single-channel model, Version II is a dual-channel system, allowing two transmitters to be used simultaneously for two-person recording with low latency (3.5 to 4 ms).

Using the RØDE Central app (Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android), users can unlock advanced features such as:

• onboard transmitter recording
• configurable safety track recording in dual mono
• file playback and export
• device customization

Each transmitter includes an onboard recorder capable of up to 7 hours of uncompressed audio (24-bit / 48 kHz WAV) or up to 24 hours of compressed recording, ideal for backup or standalone use.

Files can be exported in formats such as MP3 or WAV (16-, 24-, or 32-bit float) with time stamps and automatic markers when signal dropouts occur.

The system supports switching between:

• stereo mode
• dual-mono mode

This allows each transmitter to be recorded to separate channels or combined into left/right channels. A -20 dB safety track can also be enabled.

In addition to the 3.5mm TRS analog output, the receiver includes a USB-C digital audio output, enabling use as a 24-bit / 48 kHz audio interface.

The new Series IV technology extends the range up to 656 feet, improving signal strength and reliability in crowded RF environments.

Advanced Customization

“Always” Recording Mode:
The transmitter records continuously as soon as it is powered on, regardless of receiver status.

“Backup” Recording Mode:
Recording starts when the transmitter connects to the receiver, ensuring backup audio during wireless operation.

Off Mode:
Disables onboard recording.

Additional customization includes:
