A fast and versatile prime lens, the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary is designed for APS-C Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. The bright f/1.4 aperture is ideal for low-light shooting and provides excellent depth of field control for selective focus. The optical design includes two aspherical elements and one high-refractive index element, significantly reducing spherical aberrations and distortion for sharp, clear images. A Super Multi-Layer Coating minimizes flare and ghosting in strong lighting conditions. Additionally, a stepping AF motor ensures smooth and near-silent autofocus for both stills and video. A rubber mount seal protects against dust and debris.
