The Canon CR-N300 is designed for professional productions that require remotely controlled cameras with minimal crew while maintaining high-resolution video output.

It is ideal for applications such as:

The camera incorporates many features found in Canon camcorders, including a 1/2.3″ Dual-Pixel CMOS sensor, Hybrid AF, DIGIC DV6 processor, 20x optical zoom, microphone input, and UHD 4K video capture.

It also includes native NDI HX2 support, allowing seamless integration into existing NDI production networks without requiring an additional license.

The CR-N300 features a 1/2.3″ UHD 4K CMOS image sensor capable of capturing:

Canon UHD 4K Lens with 20x Optical Zoom

The CR-N300 features a 20x optical zoom lens with a 65.6° horizontal field of view in 4K.

At the wide end, the 29.3mm equivalent focal length (35mm equivalent) allows for wide-angle shooting, making it ideal for confined spaces such as indoor venues.

The lens uses aspherical elements to minimize optical aberrations and maintain consistent 4K image quality throughout the zoom range.

Hybrid Autofocus System

The camera uses Canon’s Hybrid AF system, which combines:
