The Canon EOS R6 V is the first V-series mirrorless camera with a 32.5MP full-frame sensor. Designed for visual storytellers, it combines outstanding image quality with video-oriented ergonomics.
Its streamlined design, in-body image stabilization, intelligent autofocus, 7K RAW recording, and active cooling system deliver consistent performance for solo creators and professional productions. A rotating user interface and multiple tripod mounting points make operation easy in both horizontal and vertical shooting configurations.

Built around a 32.5MP full-frame CMOS sensor and powerful DIGIC X processor, the R6 V captures sharp, low-noise imagery in a variety of high-quality video formats. Its 6960 x 4640 resolution enables 7K RAW recording and 7K oversampling for 4K video with enhanced detail and accurate color reproduction. A native ISO range of 100–64,000, expandable to 50–102,400, along with over 15 stops of dynamic range in Canon Log 2, provides greater control across diverse lighting conditions. |
7K RAW Recording
With a broad selection of resolutions and recording formats, the R6 V delivers maximum flexibility in post-production. Internal 7K30 Open Gate RAW and 7K60 RAW Light formats provide deep 12-bit color and exceptional detail, enabling advanced color grading and precise reframing without compromising quality.
The dedicated color button provides direct access to Canon Log 2, Canon Log 3, HLG, PQ, Canon 709, BT.709, and 14 additional customizable profiles. Frame rates up to 4K120 and 2K180 enable expressive slow motion for fast-moving scenes.

Hybrid FunctionalityIdeal for videographers, filmmakers, and photographers who require versatility, the R6 V retains many of the still-image capabilities of the EOS R6 Mark III. Its electronic shutter enables continuous shooting at up to 40 fps, while the pre-continuous shooting mode records up to 20 images before the shutter button is fully pressed. |
Dual Pixel CMOS AF II
The Dual Pixel CMOS AF II system delivers fast, accurate, and responsive focusing for both stills and video. Designed to recognize people, animals, vehicles, and other subjects, it tracks movement reliably. Advanced features such as Registered People Priority allow specific subjects to be prioritized for greater accuracy in complex scenes.

Advanced Image StabilizationWith coordinated image stabilization, the R6 V combines in-body image stabilization (IBIS) with optical image stabilization in compatible Canon RF and RF-S lenses, compensating for up to 7.5 stops of camera shake at the image center. In addition to sensor-shift stabilization, Movie Digital IS provides five-axis digital stabilization for steadier video footage. |
